Blackberry Blossom: Melodic Clawhammer TAB
This Blackberry Blossom arrangement uses a melodic clawhammer style approach. In other words, you’ll need to know more than your bum ditty. Things like drop thumb and what I call cross over motions (where the thumb plays the 2nd string followed by the index on the 3rd string). The arrangement uses lots of hammer-ons in the first part and the melody is primarily driven by rapid use of the index finger on the right hand.
Melodic Clawhammer BANJO: Blackberry Blossom
Blackberry Blossom is one of the most common fiddle tunes played at jams. You definitely want to know this one.
