Silver Bells Banjo TAB
“Silver Bells” is a song I first hear on the banjo by the late great Allen Shelton. This isn’t your Silver Bells you might know from Christmas albums. It is one written by Percy Wenrich in 1917.
This arrangement is my take on arranging the melody for 5-string banjo. I use a great deal of harmonics and closed shape major chords; you’ll need to know some basics about those techniques. One really neat thing about this song is it MODULATES. It starts in the key of G and then modulates to the key of C.
