Classical Banjo Arrangements
Classical Banjo music isn’t exactly the easiest thing to find. I’ve written up a few tabs for these baroque/classical selections below.
MINUET IN G by BACH
In my opinion, Bach works great on the banjo. This was an era where the same piece might be played on different instruments rather than one exclusive instrument. Not to mention, the banjo has an almost harpsichord sound at times.

BLUE DANUBE WALTZ
A waltz by Strauss in the key of C. This is not a beginner’s arrangement; as it uses the entire length of the banjo fingerboard. However, it is at a slow enough tempo that it shouldn’t be extremely challenging.

HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING
This is a favorite by Grieg; I think this actually works really awesome for banjo. There is a MIDI on the next page with the TAB so you can hear the arrangement.
